A Story of Grave Robbers

One night, many years ago, two strangers, assumed to be railwag workets as
they carried a pick and spade, stayed at The Bull Hotel. They were heard to
leave around midnight, passing out into the night with their tools
Later, some revellers departing from The Bull made a wager for one among
their company to enter the dark churchyard and collect a sprig of elder. They
were horrified to see the two men they had seen earlier at The Bull breaking
apart a lead coffin and putting trinkets, rings and jewellery into a small bag.
They were so terrified they ran off without the elder and lost their bet.

Shout Out From The Rooftops

Looking up until sundown
As she crawls out of the bed
Looking at that those eyes of mine
It’s the making of the sun
Going home now
Going home now

Monday makes a difference when
It’s the frail until the unfold
Monday makes a difference when
Some words mean nothing at all

Tired of moving
Standing still sometimes doesn’t feel the same
I wake up and I see the moon
As we… open up the back door
To the distance of blue

Going home now
Going home now

Sitting at the back door
Moving instruments and everything that is good
She calls up to the phone sign given
An answer between our lives

Say no one can see her
Peddling all through the next year
Say no one can see her as we
California’s leaving - sometimes it just feels the same

Going home now
Going home now
Going home now
Going home

Monday makes a difference when
It’s the frail until the unfold
Monday makes a difference when
Some words mean nothing at all

Tired of moving
Standing still sometimes doesn’t feel the same.
I wake up and I see the moon
As we… open up to see the back door
To the distance of blue

Going home now
Going home now
Going home now
Going home now

Going home now
Going home now
Going home now
Going home

Mary Mcleod

One day the news set sail
For one who strides away
We walk to the Isle of Ewe
Looking for one begins
To see what they have found
I’m off to Holyhead this afternoon

She was Mary Mcleod
As we danced beneath the stars
Watching us on every single move
The memories of the past are never left behind
We’ll walk and talk and listen to this tune

Walking for nine days
Without stopping in the rain
We woke up to see the dew
Two weeks went on by
I felt like I could cry
It was only the start of mid-June

She was Mary Mcleod
As we danced beneath the stars
Watching us on every single move
The memories of the past are never left behind
We’ll walk and talk and listen to this tune.

Woh ohh Woh ohh ohh
Woh ohh Woh ohh ohh

The party was in full swing
The puppets paraded in
The curtains raised up in fortitude
They finally got to share, the music in the air
Travelling from Ewe, to here and there

She was Mary Mcleod
As we danced beneath the stars
Watching us on every single move
The memories of the past are never left behind
We’ll walk and talk and listen to this tune.

Woh ohh Woh ohh ohh
Woh ohh Woh ohh ohh

I raise a glass to Kaz
A bar above the rest
A light that finds a place within our hearts
The bus of Bluebell tells
These stories and these smiles
For one will miss the sails of the past.

She was Mary Mcleod
As we danced beneath the stars
Watching us on every single move
The tales are now sold
To the one and to the old
The story of the dance the dance is told

She was Mary Mcleod
As we danced beneath the stars
Watching us on every single move
The memories of the past are never left behind
Will walk and talk and listen to this tune.

Woh ohh Woh ohh ohh
Woh ohh Woh ohh ohh
Woh ohh Woh ohh ohh
Woh ohh Woh ohh ohh

Woh ohh ohh
Woh ohh ohh
Woh ohh ohh

SIDE TWO

Back Beat

Welcome to the place of fun and laughter
Everyone else feels the same
Join us to dance, for every every after
Everyone else feels the same

Watch out for love
This music makes you move
Feel the rhythms all in time
Into the floor drum beat
As we weave our feet
And listen to the back beat of our mind

Lost in the mirror
My name is Glenn Miller
Everyone else feels the same
Peggy Fever move over and kiss her
Everyone else feels the same

Watch out for love
This music makes you move
Feel the rhythms all in time
Into the floor drum beat
As we weave our feet
And listen to the back beat of our mind

I’m going too swing and hold my hands up high
Everyone else feels the same
I’m gonna shake my feet all in time
Everyone else feels the same

Watch out for love
This music makes you move
Feel the rhythms all in time
Into the floor drum beat
As we weave our feet
And listen to the back beat of our mind

Tonights the night for smiles and laughter
Everyone else feels the same
Move closer a little bit closer
Everyone else feels the same

Watch out for love
This music makes you move
Feel the rhythms all in time
Into the floor drum beat
As we weave our feet
And listen to the back beat of our mind

Tonight’s the night
This music makes you move
Feel the rhythms all in time
Into the floor drum beat
As we weave our feet
And listen to the back beat of our mind

Tonight’s the night
This music makes you move
Feel the rhythms all in time
Into the floor drum beat
As we weave our feet
And listen to the back beat of our mind

Tonight’s the night
This music makes you move
Feel the rhythms all in time
Into the floor drum beat
As we weave our feet
And listen to the back beat of our mind

The Guilty

At first I stepped upon this land
Leading them astray
Look up my friend, and rest a while
Move forwards the other way

The ship is sailing out so fast
Long long long away
The crew unfolds and tells the tale
Of the light that lights the bay

Rising up to riding down
Then they all do say
Go forwards child and rest a while
And look the other way

Rising up to riding down
Look another wave
Go forwards sarling and rest a while
Tomorrow’s another day

This boy was in a darkened place
When men would loss the plot
The women walked right through him
And they they had a shock

She reached out to the old man
Befriended him with wine
You are mine forever
And now you’ll walk this line

Rising up to riding down
Then they all do say
Go forwards child and rest a while
And look the other way

Rising up to riding down
Look another wave
Go forwards sarling and rest a while
Tomorrow’s another day

The tale of a sailing ship
Wanted to be sunk
The crew the captain and the drunk
Kept thinking up on front

For we will conquer night and day
Before we will deploy
A canon ball hits from miles away
Kicking them in the sky

Rising up to riding down
Then they all do say
Go forwards child and rest a while
And look the other way

Rising up to riding down
Look another wave
Go forwards sarling and rest a while
Tomorrow’s another day

I want to move and not go back
Forwards to the bay
Watch out, look out a canon ball hits
From miles and miles away

Old man drunken sailor dude
Looking before he’s caught
He sunk the ship in anger
AND KILLED THE WHOLE DAMN LOT!

Rising up to riding down
Then they all do say
Go forwards child and rest a while
And look the other way

Rising up to riding down
Look another wave
Go forwards sarling and rest a while
Tomorrow’s another day

Rising up to riding down
Then they all do say
Go forwards child and rest a while
And look the other way

Rising up to riding down
Look another wave
Go forwards sarling and rest a while
Tomorrow’s another day

Pans Fame

Look to me, for one night only
Your eyes tell all is fine
You say, that you love me
Hold me closely until the dawn of time

The fool can be the first who sees us
A sound of peace comes to the few
A sudden beauty, mountain lonely
Holding hands to love’s sweet dew

There’s a sign, it will be OK lad
A path will find its way
Lost and found now, is only seen lad
A lesson to those who seek its fame

The fool can be the first who sees us
A sound of peace comes to the few
A sudden beauty, mountain lonely
Holding hands to loves sweet dew

Instrumental

The fool can be the first who sees us
A sound of peace comes to the few
A sudden beauty, mountain lonely
Holding hands to loves sweet dew

Hold a letter, to see your fable
Hold tight to it as if we play
For heaven holds you - even stronger
A stranger we fight everyday.

The fool can be the first who sees us
A sound of peace comes to the few
A sudden beauty, mountain lonely
Holding hands to loves sweet dew

The fool can be the first who sees us
A sound of peace comes to the few
A sudden beauty, mountain lonely
Holding hands to loves sweet dew
Holding hands to loves sweet dew
Holding hands to loves sweet dew
Holding hands to loves sweet dew

Rise Up

When the river meets the ocean
And the tide is ours to gain
And it drives us all in motion
And we will rise up all the same

We will hold our hands together
We’ll reach out across this land
Moving mountains through the dessert
And we’ll shout out as we stand

When the river meets the ocean
And the tide is ours to gain
And it drives us all in motion
And we will rise up all the same

We will hold our hands together
We’ll reach out - across this land
Moving mountains through the dessert
And we’ll rise up
We’ll rise up all the same
We’ll rise up all the same
